My name is Calum Buchan, I’m a creative photographer who captures moments through the lens.
Whether if that’s capturing the energetic performance of an artist or band in front of 50,000 people or more to one-to-on portraits to landscape work to working with clients, I enjoy capturing the moment through the lens which will leave a living memory.
Graduating with a degree in Photography followed by working for Newspapers as a freelance photographer for five years from 2015 to 2020 and continuing and also now working with clients such as Eclite Visuals Media and SSE and SEC group, I’ve used all the skills and experience I built up since 2010 when I first had the interest to lift up the Camera. I really enjoy making those special moments through the lens which make living memory.
Through my work I have managed to build some good clients and managed to capture some of the biggest bands and artists in the world such as ‘ The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Katy Perry, Bruce Springsteen, Biffy Clyro and many more. ‘, I’ve also worked for various newspapers such as a freelancer photographer for The Scotsman, Daily Record and The Scottish Sun and most recently started working SSE and SEC Group at SSE Hydro and SEC Complex.
In my spare time over past few years I’ve also managed to run a Online Music Blog first as The Modern Record then moving onto Mo Modern Record and now taking on my new challenge of a brand new creative agency ‘ Eclite Visuals Media ‘.
